- Plug and Play with NMEA2000 Compliance: NMEA2000 compliant, this outboard allows simplified connectivity with NMEA2000 electronic equipment such as sonars/fish finders, chart plotters and other devices via CANbus network technology.
- Non-Linear Mounting System: Honda patented non-linear rubber mounts provide smoother operation at all speeds, with reduced vibration and noise.
- Engine Protection and Security: Alert systems monitor critical engine functions including engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel injection and charging, and will alert the boat user to abnormal operating conditions.
- Low Vibrations & Noise: The bottom mounted flywheel means less vibration and noise, providing you with quiet, smooth running.
- Trolling Control - Optional: Engine speed can be controlled in increments of 50 RPM from idle speed to 1000 RPM/1100 RPM (model dependent). With optional remote through your authorised Honda Marine dealer.
- Not Such a Drag: The gear case is extremely hydrodynamic and super sleek. The gears within are machined to fine tolerances, reducing friction and contributing to the overall performance and superb fuel economy at high speeds.
ECOmo - Lean Burn Control
Honda's Lean Burn Control technology, ECOmo, maximises fuel efficiency by adjusting the air/fuel mixture according to speed and load. Offering significantly improved fuel consumption over direct injection two-stroke and competing four-stroke models. It's class leading performance.
Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST)
Hondas revolutionary BLASTTM technology provides strong hole shot performance, getting the hull on the plane quicker. This air/fuel ratio and ignition-timing technology boosts engine torque at low RPM under rapid acceleration conditions. Its NMEA compatible, meaning engine data can be displayed on the GPS screen.
