Motorcycle Mechanic

About the role

We're looking for a motorcycle mechanic to join our Napier workshop. You'll work across the full Honda range that comes through our doors, from road bikes to farm bikes, ATVs and side-by-sides, and you'll see plenty of other makes and models as well.

It's hands-on, varied work in a busy dealership workshop, backed by a team that has been servicing bikes across Hawke's Bay farms for 40 years.

What you'll be doing

• Servicing and repairs on Honda road and farm motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides, plus other makes and models that come through the workshop
• Diagnosing and fixing faults: electrical, fuel, driveline and everything in between
• Pre-delivery checks and set-up on new Honda machines
• Keeping the workshop, tools and job cards tidy and accurate
• Talking customers through what you found and what you did, in plain language

About us

Ericksen Honda is a locally owned family business. Mark and Kim Ericksen started servicing motorcycles on Hawke's Bay farms in 1985 and took on the full Honda motorcycle dealership in 1992.

Today we sell and service Honda motorcycles, marine outboards and power equipment from our Bayview dealership, and our service trucks cover Hawke's Bay, the East Coast and inland. Good service is the heart of what we do, and our workshop is where that reputation is earned.
