We've pressed the upgrade button. Firmly. It's still the amazingly agile Adventure bike it has always been N with performance to push to the limit N but with extra low-down torque for drive, a new adjustable screen and now with tubeless tyres that are easily repairable. Arguably the biggest upgrade though is that it packs Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa-EERAa) which means optimum damping settings, all the time - and you can swap between modes, and adjust rear spring preload while riding. The Africa Twin ES also packs heated grips and an ACC socket as standard.

The parallel-twin engine delivers 7% more torque - thanks to tuned intake and exhaust systems. Offering torque everywhere from idle to redline. You have plenty of grunt down low, and can cruise easily on the open road. The narrow layout makes the bike shorter front-to-back. That means the front wheel can tuck in closer to the engine, shortening the wheelbase, and making the bike more nimble both on and off road.

The Africa Twin is as much at home on the open road as it is on the dirt. For that extra comfort when touring, cruise control is standard, so you can just relax and enjoy the view.

Pick one of the four default riding mode settings: TOUR, URBAN, GRAVEL and OFF-ROAD to cover most riding conditions and situations, or customise your own with the USER settings. In all modes (both default and user) the levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control and wheelie control can be adjusted to rider preference.

The semi-double cradle frame layout has been proven in countless Honda off-road bikes. The design is similar to the one used on the Rally factory Dakar race bike, a machine thatOs designed to perform in the most challenging conditions.
